The room was AWESOME! I upgraded from a single to a suite as plans changed and a friend joined me for the trip. We are not in a relationship which meant I wanted separate sleeping areas. The suite had two bathrooms and a wonderful pocket door providing both of us privacy. It was wonderful! This was my second time staying here, love the rooms, love the service, and love everything about the hotel. The location couldn't be better as it provides such immediate access to the train station as well as the shopping options of the Haufbhanstrasse as well as the shopping at the train station. Couldn't say enough good about this location or the staff. I feel like I'm being pampered and enjoying life to the fullest when I'm here. I'll be back, for sure!

Best location in the city. Always book a hotel across from the train station as that is the centre of town and walkable to many attractions. Breakfast was excellent....fresh made omelets and good choice of breakfast food including fruit. Beautiful room and nice bathroom (although a little on the small side).

The hotel room I had was excellent - very spacious and comfortable. The room service for an evening meal was excellent - very good food and delivered in a timely manner. You certainly can't beat the location of the hotel - conveniently located across the street from the main train station. In addition, the hotel is located near shops, including underground shops.

Such a beautiful hotel right across the street from the main train station, which we loved after a full day of train travel. Fabulous big room with triple glazed windows so no street noise at all. Wonderfully comfortable bed, excellent bathroom with surprising little touches like good quality face creams. Very good breakfast in a pleasant dining room, lovely helpful staff. Old-fashioned excellence and attention to detail - we loved it!

Location was very convenient. Right across from the train station which can get you to anywhere in the city. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Porters were very attentive and had our bags waiting for us in our room when we got back from exploring the city. Breakfast was top-notch and complimentary. The little touches were great between the chocolates and fresh fruits in the room, dinner recommendations from the concierge, the drop-in from the butler with the chocolate trolley!

Schweizerhof is a wonderful Swiss style hotel but thought out in a very contemporary manner. Interiors are cosy with a distinctive character. Our room was comfortable and equipped with every gadget you can think of: coffee machine, hot water pot, smart tv, even a bed with reclinabile top. Bathroom is tiny but comfortable and breakfast was just on point with a nice touch of champagne by the glass which is just a cool treat. Staff is incredibly friendly and willing to accommodate all our requests, even a late checkout with valet parking at 4pm. We will definitely refer to this hotel for our next stay in Zurich.

Top quality hotel and exceptional service and all staff were very friendly from reception to bar to breakfast and housekeeping. The hotel is beautiful as the charm of European’s style (it’s different from Asia where it’s super grand can sometimes feel superficial). Very tidy, clean and neat. the hotel has a small heater in the toilet that hangs the towels which we use to hang our smaller clothings after a quick wash. Location is opposite the train station (Zurich Hauptbahnhof) and everything was super accessible.

The hotel had a great location across the street from the main train station. Our room was nice and big and clean and a great way to start our trip. It was also very quiet despite the hotel being in a busy location. We had a snack at the restaurant and it was great. The staff was very friendly and the room perfectly suited all of our needs. Highly recommend this hotel. It is also centrally located by great shopping and very close to the old district.
